alloClae™
Real fat-derived volume in the hips and glutes. No big surgery. No harvest. Drive yourself home and sit down when you get there.
If You’ve Been Told You Don’t Have Enough Fat
alloClae™ was made for both of them. It is fat-derived tissue that arrives ready to use, so there is nothing to harvest, nothing to weigh, and no operating room involved. It’s immediate volume where you want it. Call (480) 256-8018 to talk it through with Dr. Sergey Turin.

The Look Has Changed
That is a refinement goal, not a volume goal — and it is exactly the range where alloClae™ performs. The whole point is that nobody can tell. That is not a compromise version of the result. For most of the women who come to see us, that IS the result.
First, an Honest Word About Fat
Dr. Turin is not a surgeon who reaches for alloClae™ because he cannot harvest fat. He is, by reputation, the surgeon patients travel to precisely because he CAN.
A great deal of our practice is lean women who were turned away elsewhere. Harvesting usable fat from a woman with very little of it is a genuine technical skill — it demands the right cannulas, low-trauma technique, meticulous processing, and the patience to work slowly across many areas rather than pulling volume out of one. Dr. Turin performs Skinny BBLs and fat transfer breast augmentations routinely, under twilight anesthesia rather than general, and they are among the most satisfying cases in the practice. If you are a candidate for one, you will hear us say so.
So the question for a very lean patient is almost never CAN we harvest. It is whether we SHOULD. There is a point at which taking the fat costs a woman more than it gives her — where the cost and downtime are disproportionate to the results you see in the mirror. That is the line where alloClae™ becomes the better answer, and it is a judgment call Dr. Turin will make with you honestly rather than by default.
What You’re Actually Buying: Your Life Back
Ask anyone who has had a Brazilian Butt Lift or fat transfer to the breasts what the hard part was. It is not the operation. It is the recovery afterward.
A real BBL (skinny or not) or breast augmentation with fat graft means twilight sedation, nothing to eat or drink beforehand, someone else driving you home, and then a long stretch of protecting a fat graft while it decides how much of itself is going to survive.
No sitting. A pillow under your thighs in every chair and every car for weeks. A compression garment around the clock. Swelling, etc etc etc. Time off work. Even with our rapid recovery protocols that have you back to a desk job within 48hrs of surgery, you’re still getting a real procedure that you have to protect while healing.
alloClae™ has none of that, and the reason is structural rather than cosmetic. There is no donor site because nothing is harvested. There is no graft-survival period because alloClae™ contains no living cells that need to survive — the tissue is placed, and what is placed is what stays. Remove those two things and almost every rule of BBL and fat transfer recovery stops applying.
- Local anesthesia only. You are awake and comfortable throughout.
- No NPO. Eat breakfast. Have coffee. Come in after a normal morning.
- Drive yourself. To the office and home again. No escort, no ride arranged, nobody needs to know where you went. Our out-of-state patients can fly in, get the alloClae™, and fly back the same day.
- Sit down immediately. Drive home sitting normally. Sit at dinner that night. No pillow, ever.
- No compression garment. None.
- Back to the gym in about 48 hours, per Dr. Turin’s protocol and depending on what was treated.
- See it the same day. There is no waiting to find out how much took, because nothing has to take.
Expect some tenderness, mild swelling, and possibly a little bruising at the entry points for a few days. That is the honest picture, and it is not remotely the same category of experience as a BBL.
alloClae™ vs. a Skinny BBL
| alloClae™ | Skinny BBLfat transfer | |
|---|---|---|
| Setting | In-office, local anesthesia | In-office or surgicenter, usually twilight sedation |
| Liposuction required | No | Yes — and you need the fat to give |
| Works if you're lean | Yes | Limited by what can be harvested |
| NPO before | No | Yes |
| Drive yourself home | Yes | No |
| Sitting restriction | None | Weeks, with a cushion |
| Compression garment | None | Yes, extended |
| Back to training | About 48 hours | Several weeks |
| Cost at comparable volume | Higher | Lower |
Read the last row carefully, because it is the one nobody else will tell you. alloClae™ oftentimes costs more than the surgery it replaces – so what you’re buying for the extra cost is the ease, convenience, and lack of downtime. If those are less critical, we can talk about whether a Skinny BBL is the better operation and Dr. Turin will say so.
What is alloClae™?
alloClae™ is a structural adipose allograft — donated human fat tissue, processed and terminally sterilized. It is marketed and sold as a Human Cell and Tissue Product (HCT/P), which means the donor tissue is screened and tested under the FDA’s tissue regulations. It is intended to be applied subcutaneously in localized areas of the body, to provide cushioning and support where adipose tissue naturally exists.
- Composed of non-living fat cells, extracellular matrix, lipids, and connective tissue
- Processed to retain the natural three-dimensional honeycomb structure of adipose tissue, which provides volume at the application site
- Extracellular matrix retained with its naturally occurring factors, proteins, and collagens
- Terminally sterilized to a sterility assurance level of 10⁻⁶
- Free oil fraction reduced to under 2%, minimizing the risk of oil cysts
- DNA content minimized, reducing immunogenic response
- Contains no viable cells and has no systemic effect
That second-to-last point is worth pausing on. Because alloClae™ is not living tissue, it does not go through the survival-and-resorption process a fat graft does. With a fat transfer, a meaningful share of what is injected does not survive, which is why surgeons overfill and why you wait 4–6 weeks to see where you landed. alloClae™ is placed and it stays placed. It is a different mechanism, and it is the reason the recovery rules are different.
alloClae™ is not a hyaluronic acid filler, and it is not synthetic.
Where Dr. Turin Uses alloClae™
Hip Dips
The lateral depression between the hip and the outer thigh is the single most requested alloClae™ application in our practice. It responds well because softening a hip dip is a shape problem, not a size problem, and it takes far less volume than most people assume.
Gluteal Shaping and Upper-Pole Projection
Liposuction Irregularities
Divots, ripples, and over-resected areas from previous surgery elsewhere. A significant part of our practice is revision work, and alloClae™ has become a useful way to address a well-defined contour deficit without returning to the operating room.
Breast Contour Refinement
Visible implant rippling, a step-off at the upper pole, thin soft-tissue coverage, cleavage refinement, and minor side-to-side asymmetry. Note that this is contour and symmetry work — alloClae™ is not a substitute for a fat transfer breast augmentation or for implants, and we will not present it as one.
Ready to Explore a Non-Surgical Way to Get the Shape You Want?
When Surgery Is Still the Better Choice
We would rather lose the booking than sell you the wrong procedure.
If you want a large change in size.
alloClae™ is priced by volume, and the volume required for a dramatic silhouette change makes it cost considerably more than the equivalent surgery. If your goal is significant augmentation rather than refinement, fat transfer is both the better result and the better value.
If you also want your waist smaller.
A BBL includes liposuction, and that liposuction does half the aesthetic work — taking the waist in is what makes the hips read. alloClae™ only adds. It cannot take anything away. For many patients the honest answer is that the waist matters more than the volume, in which case what you need is liposuction or Lipo360.
If you have loose skin or a poor underlying contour.
If you have adequate fat and no objection to surgery.
What the alloClae™ Process Looks Like
Your consultation is a full hour with Dr. Turin. He will examine you virtually or in person, discuss your goals and wishes and you overall aesthetic. He will tell you honestly how much volume it would take and what that would cost before you commit to anything as well as go over any alternatives that you should be aware of and the pros and cons of all the options. If a surgical plan would serve you better, he will say so in that hour rather than after you have paid a deposit. Once you pick you date, we will set up all the pre op appointments and share Dr. Turin’s cell phone number with you so you can reach out to him personally for any questions before or after surgery. We often will do the consultation and pre-op appointment virtually via zoom because we see so many patients from out of town.
On treatment day you eat normally and drive yourself in. You’ll meet with our staff and Dr. Turin and spend some time going over the plan, your wish pics, and really refining the plan. We’ll take your pre-op photos at this time also. When you’re absolutely ready to go and the vibes are right, we’ll get you over to our in-office OR where you have the most important job of all – pick the music we’ll listen to! Then, the recipient area is marked and numbed with local anesthesia. Dr. Turin places the alloClae™ graft through small entry points using a cannula, layering it deliberately across planes rather than depositing it in a single pocket — the same technique discipline that governs how he grafts fat surgically. Most treatments take under an hour total – basically like a lip filler appointment. You get dressed, you drive home, and you sit down.
What It Costs
alloClae™ is priced by volume, so the honest answer is that it depends entirely on how much you need — and we will give you that number at consultation, before you commit to anything.
What we will tell you plainly is this: at volumes comparable to a small gluteal fat transfer, alloClae™ costs more than the surgery does. You are paying a premium, and the premium buys you the recovery — no operating room, no anesthesia, no time away from work or training, no weeks of sitting on a pillow. For a lot of our patients that trade is obviously worth it. For some it is not. We will help you work out which one you are.
Safety and Candidacy
alloClae™ should not be used in patients with severe allergen sensitivities, a history of anaphylaxis, or in the presence of active infection. As with all procedures of this type, complications are possible although not everyone experiences them. Potential complications include cystic or nodule formation, pain or infection, hematoma, anaphylaxis or other allergic or immune responses, and discoloration of the skin at the treatment site.
Dr. Turin will review your history, examine you, and tell you plainly whether alloClae™ is the right tool for what you want.

alloClae™ FAQs
Is this a non-surgical BBL?
It is the closest thing that exists, with two honest caveats. alloClae™ will not produce the dramatic size change a full BBL can, and it does not include the liposuction that gives a BBL its waistline. For a lean patient who wants shape rather than size, it can absolutely deliver — that is precisely the patient it suits best.
Can I really sit down right away?
Yes. The sitting restriction after a BBL exists to protect a fat graft while it establishes a blood supply. alloClae™ contains no living cells and has no graft-survival phase, so that restriction does not apply. You will drive yourself home sitting normally.
Do I need a compression garment or a BBL pillow?
No to both.
When can I train again?
Roughly 48 hours for most patients, depending on the area treated and how much was placed. Dr. Turin will give you a specific clearance rather than a generic one.
I’m very thin. Am I a candidate?
That is the whole point. Because nothing is harvested from you, low body fat is not a disqualifier. If you have been turned away elsewhere or told to gain weight first, this is worth a consultation.
Is alloClae™ FDA approved?
alloClae™ is marketed and sold as a Human Cell and Tissue Product, which is a different regulatory pathway than an FDA-approved drug or an FDA-cleared device. HCT/Ps are subject to the FDA’s tissue regulations, which govern donor eligibility, screening, and testing for transmissible disease. So it can’t be ‘cleared’ or ‘approved’ any more that fat graft can. We are glad to explain that distinction properly at your consultation but the point is that the product has gone through VERY rigorous testing and all the mandatory safety checks to make sure it’s safe for use before being brought to market.
Is it someone else’s fat?
Yes – It is derived from donated human adipose tissue, processed and terminally sterilized to a sterility assurance level of 10⁻⁶, with DNA content minimized to reduce immune response. It contains no living cells. And yes – donors and/or their families are aware of what the donated fat will be used for.
Will it feel natural?
The processing retains the natural three-dimensional structure of adipose tissue, which is what allows it to behave like soft tissue rather than like a firm gel.
How long does it last?
Because alloClae™ is adipose tissue rather than a dissolving gel, results are intended to be lasting, and how long they last varies with your body and lifestyle. Published durability data on this product is still limited, so we will not quote you a number we cannot stand behind. So far, we’re seeing excellent results at 2 year marks from the very early patients.
Can I combine it with liposuction?
Yes, and for some patients that is the ideal plan — strategic liposuction and fat transfer to build the foundation and then a little bit of alloClae™ to put on the final touches. Dr. Turin will walk you through whether that combination makes sense for your anatomy.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: alloClae is intended to be applied subcutaneously in localized areas of the body to provide cushioning and support to the patient’s body where adipose tissue naturally exists. alloClae does not contain viable cells, has no systemic effect, and is not dependent upon the metabolic activity of living cells for its primary function. This allograft is intended for single patient use only. alloClae should not be used on patients with severe allergen sensitivities, a history of anaphylaxis, or in the presence of active infection. Like all procedures of this type there is a possibility of complications, although not everyone experiences them. Those potential complications include cystic or nodule formations, pain or infection, hematoma, anaphylaxis or other allergic or immune responses, or discoloration of the skin at the procedure site.
