Welcome to Koda Plastic Surgery, Scottsdale’s destination for boutique care and natural transformations. Located just off the I-101 and Shea, our plastic surgery center has state-of-the-art equipment in a beautiful space filled with live plants and light. Dr. Sergey Turin

Dr. Sergey Turin, our “commander in chief,” is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in creating natural and elegant transformations for our patients. He takes the utmost pride in his craft and has structured Koda to create the perfect experience for you and his team. His specialties include revision surgery of the face, breast, and body, deep plane facelifts, complex liposuction (hi-definition lipo, fat transfer in low BMI patients, revision lipo), labiaplasty, and nerve reconstruction, to name a few. He also specializes in awake procedures, so you can get your dream results without going under.
His years of knowledge and experience are highlighted by his 56 published articles, 9 textbook chapters authored, and 26 podium presentations. Dr. Turin prides himself on achieving excellence throughout his medical education, surgical training, and clinical practice. He trained and collaborated with world experts in cosmetic surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, breast reconstruction, microsurgery, craniofacial surgery, and complex reconstructive surgery, allowing him to perform some of the world’s most challenging and complex surgeries.
He started Koda Plastic Surgery in the summer of 2024 with an unorthodox goal in mind—maximal happiness for patients, himself, and his staff. Koda shifts the focus from maximal surgical volume to finding joy in elegantly crafting life-changing transformations for our patients. It is in the DNA of our practice to take the time needed for you to have the best possible patient experience and the perfect result.
Outside of work, he most enjoys his family time, his 2 young boys, cycling, and a bit of car racing when the temperatures drop.

Meet the Team

Alicia - Practice Manager

Alicia is a native of Michigan and was born and raised in Grand Rapids. She has a degree in criminal justice, but instead of chasing bad guys, she’s spent her time chasing better outcomes for her patients. She has 25 years of experience in the medical field, including emergency medicine, administrative roles in graduate medical education, and cosmetic, plastic, and hand surgery. After relocating to Phoenix alongside her husband in 2021, she has been leveraging her wealth of knowledge to help her patients get their best results.

Alicia’s enthusiasm and profound knowledge of skincare and effective treatments make her a valuable asset. She takes pride in educating patients about surgical procedures and skincare regimens as a licensed laser technician. She actively promotes patient education and advocates for the highest quality of patient care within the office.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Alicia enjoys traveling with her family, exploring hidden speakeasies, and devoting love and attention to her two Jack Russell dogs. She also strives to make the world happier, one person at a time.

Emma - Patient Care Coordinator

Emma, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and Marketing from Ohio University, where she excelled as a volleyball player. Following her graduation in 2022, Emma relocated to Arizona and embarked on her professional journey, starting in the OMFS world before joining the Koda team.

As our Patient Care Coordinator, Emma is the first point of contact for our patients. She strives to ensure that each patient’s experience is as seamless and comfortable as possible right up to the day of their surgery!

Emma cherishes spending quality time with her family and friends in her leisure time. She is an avid hiker and a football fan and delights in exploring new and exciting restaurants within the valley. You may also see her dominating the local beach volleyball courts after clinic hours.

Olivia - Patient Concierge

Olivia lived in Washington State before moving to Arizona. She embarked on her professional journey in the aesthetic field early on and has worked extensively in the MedSpa industry. As our Patient Concierge, she’s the face of our practice at the front desk, and she loves making our patients feel welcome and relaxed when they visit us.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys a vibrant personal life. She often spends quality time with friends and family, explores new culinary experiences, and embarks on adventures with her dog, Cowboy. Her dedication to both her career and personal life reflects her passion for creating exceptional and memorable experiences for those she serves.

Spring – Senior Patient Care Coordinator

I’ve been in the aesthetics world for over 10 years and absolutely love everything to do with health, beauty, and fitness. I’ve had the chance to work in just about every corner of the industry — and I’m so excited to bring that experience to the amazing Koda Team!

As the Senior Patient Care Coordinator, I get to do what I love most: connect with our patients and work closely with Dr. Turin to make sure your aesthetic journey is smooth, personalized, and actually fun — from your first consult to your final glow-up.

When I’m not at Koda, you can find me hanging out with my family, flowing through a pilates or hot yoga class, or keeping up with all things sports — from boxing and tennis to a good game-day hang at a cool sports bar. I’m all about balance, good energy, and helping you feel your absolute best!
